john k. i see your last comment was deleted. i find (her) poetry beautiful but as of late (since the loss of my daughter) and mostly now, i fine the word useless appropriate.

my son is 14, went to a pretty relaxed catholic school from 3 pre-k to 6 grade and is completely agnostic. not a fad (he's the only one in his circle that is) but when he would get upset over something then confused as to his/our purpose on this earth, his scientific mind couldn't rationalize god and doesn't.
